The PREMIER-SD enhances the performance of the already successful PREMIER product line through the incorporation of a multi-motor Servo Drive web transport system. Available in a variety of configurations, the PREMIER-SD can be configured to suit the needs of converters with high performance requirements on a wide range of materials.

Details

The PREMIER-SD incorporates the familiar TRACKER ® and PREMIER operator friendly web path and includes many other standard features, such as:

• Precision ground steel main plate
• Electronic web guide (suitable for opaque and clear materials)
• Automatic roll-end slowdown (without use of roll-followers or external sensors)
• Cast drawhead with easy-access nip roller
• Large 2616 mm (103”) inspection table with master roll and adjustable fault-editing splice positions
• Diaphragm-chamber web clamps

In addition, each PREMIER-SD includes the following standard features:

• Multi-motor Servo Drive web transport system
• Automatic open-loop unwind and rewind tension compensation
• Web Advance Unit with pivot retraction for full rewind diameter capability
• Label, Length and Buttcut/Repeat counting with strobe trigger
• Nip roll slip detection
